Join BWC on Thursday, September 22nd as we celebrate our 22nd anniversary with Politics, not Polemics!
We'll thank outgoing President Tricia Tyler and welcome our new leader, Michelle Gaseau - a member since 2003 - and Director of Communications at Lasell College.
How are women communicators dealing with today's political climate? Discussing this will be panelist Marty Walz of Marty Walz and Associates, a former member of the MA House of Representatives and past president/ceo of the Planned Parenthood League of MA. She'll join Nancy Sterling, a Senior VP of strategic communications at ML Strategies, Mintz Levin's consulting/lobbying arm. Marty will discuss three of the State's ballot questions, as they are of particular interest to women, especially our working mothers. And Nancy, a registered Independent, surrounded by prominent Democrats and Republicans at her firm, will discuss third parties!
You'll enjoy the company of colleagues, and share summer experiences as we ramp up the fall season.
Just click on "Buy This" - we'll save your place. And please let us know right away if you wish to bring a guest, so we can guarantee that seat. Hope to see you on the 22nd!
How do you navigate through difficult political conversations? What communications skills do you employ when office conversations get sticky?
Jodi Smith of Mannersmith to the rescue! At our August Summer Social, BWC's outgoing President, Tricia Tyler (right) chatted with our presenter. Jodi's "How to Disagree Without Being Disagreeable" was a big hit with our politically-involved members and colleagues and the perfect primer for our September 22nd event.
