Have A Heart: Women Speaking Truth to Power
Colette heads one of Boston’s leading marketing communications and PR firms. Since her student days at Emerson, she has refused to be defined or confined by traditional barriers of gender or race. She is recognized as a champion for the development of women and people of color in the Boston area and a pioneer of inclusion and multicultural marketing.
She founded Get Konnected!, a cross-cultural and interracial networking platform; was a founding member of the Black/Jewish Economic Roundtable, devoted to fostering better economic cooperation between the black and Jewish communities; created Kaleidoscope, Boston’s first comprehensive multicultural resource guide; has been a facilitator of a strategic alliance between the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic-American Chamber of Commerce; and is the author of Twenty-One Steps for Women to Win. On January 29th, Collette was honored by The Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action with their Advocate for Justice award.
BWC is delighted that this champion for accurate, elegant, inclusive and fair communication will lead us in a discussion on finding and communicating women’s powerful unique voice in this time of “alternative facts”, international insults, prejudice, exclusion and – gas-lighting.
Join your communications colleagues for an energizing night of learning - and re-connecting.
